1. You have to buy them from Amazon. Nobody else sells them.
2. You can read books you already bought on a plane, but you can’t buy new ones while you are on the plane (because that requires using the Kindle’s radio to transmit and receive data).
3. You can’t use it for email or texting. It also doesn’t let you view most websites (except Wikipedia).
4. You sign up with Amazon using a credit card before you can use it to buy books.
5. I don’t have a Kindle but I have thought about getting one.
