I JUST GOT A FLIP ULTRA VIDEO Camera plz plz plz plz plz read!?

OKAY, so as your just read, i got a flip ultra camcorder. but i cant open it until this friday because my birthday isnt until then. (march 27th (so excited)) well anyways, my main point here is that i need a lot of info from you guys as the viewers about what editing software i should get, or what accesories i should get i.e. the waterproof case! just give me a few things i should get( i have no spending limit so go ahead and tell me what i should get for this flip ultra camcorder.)

For accessories I would recommend, most importantly a tripod, as these cameras are rather shaky on their own and you will find a tripod often comes in handy. Secondly consider getting a underwater case for well, obvious reasons. A word of caution, I have heard many a tale of the underwater case leaking and destroying camcorders, so you might want to consider that. To try and minimize leakage start the camera recording before you put it in the case, and than stop it when its out of the water.

As far as video editing software goes on Mac you have one option (and its a great one) Final Cut Express. On the PC I would highly recommend the Sony Vegas Editor. The basic version should be fine for you to start on. It has many pro features and it should be compatible with the flips video files. It also has a DVD creation feature so you can create DVD’s of your footage.
