Budget Camcorder Options?
Hi there! I’m thinking of buying a cheapish budget camcorder. I’m looking to spend around £150 (including price of memory cards etc) and would like a camcorder with optical zoom. That will obviously rule out the Flip Mino and its rivals. The Camera doesn’t need to have HD, but it would be nice as I have a PS3 and a TV that accepts a 1080p input. I want to mainly take videos of fast moving objects such as cars, so it would be nice to have a stable picture. The majority of filming would be done outside, so indoor lighting problems are not too much of an issue.
I have had a look at some reviews, such as the Sony MHS-CM1 and Toshiba Camileo. The Sony was the best so far, but because that model is only available in the USA, i don’t want to invest in power adapters and big shipping charges.
So guys, if you own any similar to these or could recommend one of the best at that sort of price range, that would be great.
